You can play the board game competitively or cooperatively.
In the cooperative version of this board game you and the other players must work together to discover as many locations of Bonaire as possible during a stay of 6 days. Time is flying and there are some obstacles and creatures trying to thwart your discovery journey. How many postcards will you be able to collect?
The board game NAVITA Bonaire is a race to see who completes his or her route around Bonaire first. You have to achieve 6 different missions and in each you will discover something about Bonaire. But beware, the other players, ghosts and several mischievous creatures will try to stop you.
The map
We strive for beauty in our board games and this map is no exception. We wanted a map to make the players, regardless of their age, feel like children, full of joy and eager to live and adventure. In the words of George Bernard Shaw: “We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing”.
Route, guides and postcards
This board game is currently in development. We are aiming at having 6 routes, each one with 6 missions. Each mission is a combination of a destination and a special guide, so you got to get to a specific place in the map and have the correct guide to tell you the story. There will be 10 types of guide cards, each one for different missions or with special abilities. These cards will portrait dive guides, nature guides, chefs, concierges, cultural guides and more.
The game
There will be a total of 36 “postcards” depicting places, traditions or even venues of Bonaire. Each postcard will have a small factoid about Bonaire in English, Papiamento and (hopefully) Dutch. All three types of cards will have space for branding, Click here to put your name in the game.
